June 19, 2020 — E4TheFuture and the Building Performance Association submitted joint comments today to the U.S. Senate Democrats’ Special Committee on the Climate Crisis. The comments responded to the committee’s May 19, 2020 request for input on the types and scale of approaches needed to address our climate crisis.
We focused our comments on energy-related topics to support the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050. Sector-specific policies to decarbonize buildings were included, as well as suggestions related to job creation, tax credits, and a focus on innovation. Read the comments.
