Energy efficiency programs support U.S. jobs, help families

May 3, 2017 — National energy efficiency programs protect vulnerable families and should not be cut. E4TheFuture’s Steve Cowell and the Home Performance Coalition’s Brian Castelli carry the message to Capitol Hill today with more than 2,400 signatures representing 1,125 organizations & companies.

The White House’s initial budget outline suggests key programs might end up on the chopping block. So home contracting and energy efficiency groups are rallying to their defense. Their letter supporting continuation of the programs was signed by energy efficiency professionals and supporters from 49 states and the District of Columbia. See written testimony.
