August 20, 2024 — E4TheFuture’s partner the Building Performance Association today announced a refreshed launch of #FacesOfEE — a project dedicated to showcasing the diverse and dynamic world of energy efficiency (“EE”) careers.
Faces of EE began in 2017 when E4TheFuture offered photo booths at events and created resources to make EE professionals visible and their voices heard, stating its purpose as “educating decision makers about the U.S. EE industry and policy approaches that create lasting benefits for all Americans.” (See the original launch history.)
“Illuminating the size, scale and reach of EE workers with the Faces of EE via this awareness campaign is now in the capable hands of our friends at the Building Performance Association,” says E4TheFuture executive director Pat Stanton. “We are so pleased to pass the torch to BPA’s committed team of professionals.”
With more than 2.2 million Americans employed in energy efficiency — jobs in 99.7% of all U.S. counties — the career stories and passions told in Faces of EE will help turn statistics into impact. Fully half of U.S. states have 31,000+ EE workers each.
