July 6, 2019 — The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) has issued a brief on the Database of State Efficiency Screening Practices (DSESP). The database is a project of the National Efficiency Screening Project, which is coordinated by E4TheFuture.
How are people using the DSESP? What are its other valuable potential uses? ACEEE summarizes ways that the DSESP supports stakeholder understanding and input into cost effectiveness testing processes, based on a user survey conducted in April.
The brief also presents ACEEE’s analysis of the impacts accounted for in different state tests, and suggests ways that advocates and other stakeholders can use the DSESP to support their efforts to improve cost-effectiveness practices in their jurisdictions.
