December, 2023 — E4TheFuture congratulates Good2Go, LLC, for being selected by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) to receive an EmPower grant. Beginning in 2024, the Ambassador Program will match community members to drive elderly, disabled or unlicensed neighbors to the grocery store, appointments, and other locations in exchange for Good2Go EV careshare driving credits.
This innovative pilot will help Good2Go achieve its mission of promoting equity in the transition to using electric vehicles. The program is in partnership with Preservation of Affordable Housing. See the program page for details. The Ambassador Program will provide alternative transit options in Boston, as well as build community. Good2Go operates an EV carshare program with a fleet of vehicles in four Boston locations.
EmPower Massachusetts offers multiple stages of investment in communities and community-based organizations so that they can explore, develop, and implement program models or projects that provide access to the benefits of clean energy for previously underserved populations. This MassCEC program crowd-sources new and innovative ideas, then helps put them into action.
