MassCEC Announces Community Microgrids Program Awards

February 21, 2018 — E4TheFuture’s Worcester project was among fourteen selected by Massachusetts Clean Energy Center’s Community Microgrids Program for feasibility study funding. The $75,000 grants will help set the stage for the Commonwealth to “meet a range of objectives, including greenhouse gas emission reductions, economic development, community resilience, energy cost reductions and clean energy integration,” stated Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Matthew Beaton in the announcement.
