January 13, 2021 — Ten months into the unemployment crisis, 70% of the jobs lost in the U.S. clean energy sector have not returned. Although the sector gained 16,900 jobs in December, much uncertainty remains, while COVID-19 cases continued to spike.
December 9, 2020 — The U.S. clean energy sector gained less than 8,000 jobs in November, with COVID-19 cases rapidly spiking and uncertainty growing. According to a new analysis by BW Research Partnership, the sector added the fewest number of jobs per month since unemployment peaked in May.
November, 2020 — Energy Efficiency Jobs in America illustrates how energy efficiency is a top U.S. employer, with a workforce of nearly 2.4 million Americans before the pandemic hit. From 2016-19 efficiency jobs grew at a strong and steady pace and can do so again.
